Who we are
Our website address is: https://defensetechinnovations.com.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors make submissions through the DTIP website we collect the data shown in the form, and we may also record the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you submit a technology for review through our website you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, all other data submitted, and your website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. No cookies will last longer than one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
Embedded content from other websites
Pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
Who we share your data with
If you submit a technology for review, the submission data and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up messages automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
What rights you have over your data
If you have submitted data through this website, you can request to receive a copy of your submission and the data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Your data may be shared within the DTIP and with USG officials and other defense professionals. Any data that you mark as BUSINESS CONFIDENTIAL will only be shared within the DTIP until such time as you provide written notification and authorization to share that data with others.
Your contact information
Your contact information will be shared within the DTIP and retained potentially indefinitely within the organization for security and tracking purposes. However, we will not share your data with advertising agencies, spammers, or others who, to our knowledge, might intend to sell your data to others. We do not maintain any commercial relationships with companies or organizations that might seek to employ your data for spam messages, promotions, or other such similar purposes.
